I've been beading for 20+ years, and I think from the very beginning, I have wanted to make the perfect peacock feather in beads. I have tried several different stitches and layouts but none of them was right.... Well I think I got it right this time. This is an adorable 1 1/2 inches long in size 15/0 and about 2 1/2 inches in size 11/0 round seed beads.

This earring uses flat round peyote, square stitch and straight fringes. I think you should have some bead weaving experience in these stitches before making your first feather.
